Grill 2024 wrap-up

In 2024, I BBQed, grilled and smoked a variety of meats, cheeses and vegetables as shown in the photo collage below. One of the highlights of 2024, was grilling a fresh 5.5 lb (2.5 kg) chicken I cooked for a Christmas party. The breast meat was super moist and almost melted in my mouth.

In addition to grilling steaks and seafood, I also prepared various types of sausages as well as Indian Tandoori chicken, chicken Tikka and Jamaican Jerk chicken/pork. I really love the full range of spices in Indian marinated chicken dishes.

In 2025, I have decided to post about once a month the items I am grilling, which will be posted in my Instagram account. The idea behind the monthly blogging is to post my grill activity taking advantage of seasonal seafood, vegetables and fruits when they are in season in Japan. One of the advantages about living in Tokyo, it is possible to grill year-round on my balcony with local seasonal foods.
